The Journey to Heaven--by Anita Rae Strange

It's a long journey to heaven, especially for one who is diagnosed with a fatal disease, days seem long.
nights cold and dark, haunting crys, begging for someone to cease this agonizing pain,
other days are bright and joyous with hope that one day that there will be a cure.
some people look at you with shame, other people offer compassion and support,
to help you through this devouring endless travel.

when you become weak and weary, and are tired of your old body, that will wither away eventually,
you will descend into a better haven, a painless resting place,
there is a gloriouslight at the end of the tunnel, where open arms are waiting to greet you.
angels to shroud you with a new clean and healthy body, your journey is complete.
your journey to heaven.

A Thanksgiving Poem--by Anita Rae Strange

We gather together on this holiday, to give thanks to the lord.
for the good that has come our way. lest we forget to help others as well.
for they are not able to provide for themselves.
friends and family and those we love dear, will celebrate this occassion.
from far and near.
the warmth of such love shall open our hearts, to aid the less fortunate
we can all do our part.

Turkey and Dressing and Cranberry Sauce
filling our belly's until we bust, and don't forget grandma's delicious pumpkin pie
topped with whipped cream, so good ...how can we deny.
let us remember to thank god above. for he is the reason.
that we have health happiness and love.

To Anthony Strange by Anita Rae Strange

Dear Brother, My Brother
where have you gone? We've grown apart and it's been far too long. we used to be so close, we had a bond that puzzled most folks
but we knew in our hearts, right from the start, God was watching over us.

Dear Brother My Brother,
I'm afraid that I've lost my way. please come rescue me, the darkness has surrounded me.I guess i am here to stay.
One we reunite, I know everything will be alright, because with you by my side,I'm secure and in you I can confide.

Dera Brother, My Brother
I think I hear you calling me.Where are you? my sight is dim and I cannot see.
there is a light at the end of the tunnel, you must come back and follow your destiny.
Can't you see I need you, the world needs you. without you, we'll be so forlorn and blue. so try as hard as you can.
Our prayers are with youand with god's almighty hand. take that stand, be a man, and there will be joy and laughter across the land.
